«SCA» is composed of a complex blend of oak chips toasted at a range of different temperatures. It intensifies the aromatic complexity of wines by adding spice, dried fruit, toasted dried fruit, vanilla, coffee and hints of grilled notes. Used between alcoholic and malolactic fermentation or during ageing, «SCA» reinforces structure, amplifies volume and boosts aromatic persistence.

"SCA" reinforces complexity and contributes volume to the palate. It reinforces a wine’s complexity with notes of spices, dried fruit, roasted dried fruit, vanilla, and light smokiness.

When is the best moment to use it?

Depending on the objective, either during alcoholic fermentation or during aging (before and occasionally after malolactic fermentation).

What is the right proportion of SCA chips?

The recommended dose, according to the characteristics of the must and the profile objectives sought, is between 0.5 and 5 g/L.

Technical characteristics

Food-quality product sensitive to storage conditions.Storage in original sealed packaging, with no direct contact of the bag with the floor, in a temperate room (5 to 40°C) free from odors and chemicals. Can be used up to 5 years after production is stored in the aforementioned conditions.
